Shipping + Returns
Here at Mudpie Music we specialise in vintage and secondhand musical equipment - instruments that have been loved and played by their previous owners. This also means that these instruments may show signs of wear or use including, but not limited to, belt-buckle or pick scratches, scuffs, dings or scrapes on the instrument or collateral materials. We advise our customers to inspect the provided photos carefully prior to placing an order to ensure they are fully aware of the instrument’s current condition upon purchase. Some instruments may also have had parts changed, modifications made, or needed repairing - these details will be stated in the product description. Again, it is the customer’s responsibility to read and view all available information before making a purchase. Deliveries will be carried out by a third party courier service (DPD / Parcel Force etc.) and instruments will be insured to their full sale value. Please carefully inspect all items and do not sign for your package unless you are completely satisfied it has arrived in good condition. If you are unable to inspect your package, add a note alongside your signature to say that the item has not been inspected when you sign for it. If you believe your order have been damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours to let us know. If you can see the item has not arrived in good condition, sign for the goods as “DAMAGED”. Mudpie Music can not accept liability for the condition of the instrument after leaving our store, this is the sole liability of the courier service and any disputes must be taken out with them. We will however support you in this process to ensure they take responsibility for any damaged incurred during transit.
If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer a full refund policy of 7 days after receipt of the item. Simply return it in its original condition within the return period and we’ll give you a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges. Returned items must be in the same condition as sold and show no new signs of wear or use including, but not limited to, belt-buckle or pick scratches, scuffs, dings or scrapes on the instrument or collateral materials. Items must also include all original packaging, manuals, warrantees and accessories. For items returned by a customer that do not fulfil these requirements, Mudpie Music can not accept any liability and may refuse to take delivery.
Return of Product
When returning a product, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that all goods are repackaged securely and goods are received back in the same condition they were received in. Only when goods are received back in the condition sent, will a refund be issued. We recommend keeping all of the original packaging incase you need to return an item to us. If you have disposed of the original packaging, you will need to securely repackage the item in a sturdy cardboard box with appropriate and sufficient packing material. It is strongly recommended that the item is packed such to prevent it from moving around and or getting scratched. If an item is returned by a customer with insufficient packaging and is subsequently damaged, Mudpie Music can not accept any liability and may refuse to take delivery.
Refunds will be made by the method of payment which was used to pay for the instrument/item ie PayPal to PayPal, Wire to Wire, Cash to Cash.
